Upper Clatford
Our village hall was opened in 1955 as a centre for community activities and since then it has undergone a number of improvements, the last one being completed in 2009.
Village Hall Facilities
The hall (approx. 15.7 m x 7.4 m) is available for private and community functions with a seating capacity of up to 100 guests around tables or 150-seated theatre style. There is also a stage, a Committee Room (approx. 6.4 m x 3.3 m) that can seat up to 18 people, good toilet facilities, a kitchen, a large storeroom with lockable cupboards and a sizeable car park to the rear, all with full disabled access. It is situated in the centre of the village and is eminently suitable for clubs, family gatherings, private parties and fund-raising activities.
As the hall is a registered charity, the management committee is required to raise funds to maintain the building so it can continue to meet the requirements of its users. It does this through hire charges and by organising a wide variety of events to which everyone is warmly invited.

Public Hire Details
The hall, committee room, kitchen and associated facilities are all available for hire by village residents at very reasonable rates. The Committee Room can be hired out separately however it does not have its own facilities and hiring it out is dependent on whether the hall is also being used.
