You should use every opportunity to teach and regularly reinforce basic concepts taught, in real-life and in real-time. When my children were young, I had the great privilege and opportunity to stay at home while their Dad worked to provide for us all. Although I admit there were times when I envied the stylish young ”working” mothers for what I thought looked like freedom, most days I enjoyed the daily chores, activities and time spent with my little people in simple and yes, often mundane conversation and activities.
